William Blum is a leading expert on American Foreign Policy. He left the State Department in 1967 because of his opposition to United States action in Vietnam. Blum has been a freelance journalist in the US, Europe and South America. He is the author of the well-known book, Killing Hope: US Military and CIA Interventions since World War II. Mark Zepezauer used Blums work as the inspiration for his well-known CIAs Greatest Hits, published in 1994. Blums new book Americas Deadliest Export: Democracy, The Truth about US Foreign Policy and Everything Else has been called a remarkable collection that concentrates on matters of great significance by Professor Noam Chomsky.
