You have to be consistent. If you cant be certain at the intellectual level, you cant be certain at the personal level. If one cant be certain, then basically what is being said is that Gods consistent declarations of what and who he says is in Scripture somehow does not have enough authority to overcome your authority, and what is ultimately your Christianized skepticism.
