William and Caroline are 3 months old today! Both are doing great. William passed his swallow study which means he’s no longer aspirating milk. We can finally feed him a bottle rather than through a tube! It’s been a wild ride the past few months, but we could not be more grateful for how things turned out. We are mindful of our donor family each day and the sacrifice they made which saved William’s life. We feel blessed to be surrounded by friends and family who have great faith. We’ve learned so much and feel like we could write a book about our experiences. One last piece of good news… William’s doctors are tentatively giving us the OK to return back to Omaha in the next few weeks.
