Wilson+Gunn Architects Move For Expansion From Tuesday 16th July, the Glasgow and London based Architects firm, will be moving their Glasgow operations to one of the city centre’s most stunning Art Deco buildings at 21 Gordon Street. Standing directly opposite their previous office however, clients will not have to walk far. The move comes at an exciting time for the company which has been involved in a number of high profile developments across the city that has seen the practice develop and grow at an impressive rate. These include a £44million hotel, leisure and shopping complex adjacent to the Emirates Arena, the new Dalmarnock Community Hub – a key part of the Glasgow regeneration strategy for the area in partnership with Clyde Gateway and the exciting launch of their London based office, located at the creative hub of 86-89 Paul Street. Founder and Director William Gunn said: “It is an exciting time for the company and we are delighted to be moving into the ‘B’ listed Art Deco building designed by Glasgow Architect James Carruthers in 1931. We would like to assure all of our clients and contacts that there will be no disruption of service during our short move. As part of our exciting expansion I am delighted to welcome on board Kenny Stephen and Enda Williamson, formerly of Curious. With a collective 30 years’ experience in the architecture profession they are both an excellent and valued addition to the team. We also welcome Tony Coffield, Director at Make Full Stop and Glasgow School of Art Tutor on board as an Associate Interior Designer.” To celebrate the expansion Wilson+Gunn Architects will be hosting an open evening at their new office for guests to meet the new extended team and view their latest work.
