Winds of the Sahara My beautiful dream... As sweet as your olive colored skin Love me with every breath you take from me And give me back life... I`ll sail the forbidden seas Brave the desert winds Float the Murderous river with blood soaked hands And brave the guns of armies of the Byzantine Conquer the tropical rains and weathered storms To see you there alone Waiting for me at the sea With your hair blowing so softly in the breeze On top your white horse Eyes so intense and sharply staring A French and Tunisian princess... Glaring at me through the lands Drawing me closer As I top the hills and mountains Through the villages with sand walls and blue doors, and stone streets My black beast rides the winds of the Sahara, with knives and vultures at my back Predators and thieves and villains, stomped below his hooves into the sand My dreams of kissing thee lips made of flowers My cracked hands hold tight to the reigns Lips and tongue dry for months and days I flew away I fell to my knees Barely I can see A silhouette against the long forbidding beach A rider in a flowing white headdress and her steed with plates of gold on his chest Snorting his hot breath in the cold of the Mediterranean And his staring eyes Cracking the whip at full speed A beautiful Tunisian sunset reaches out to me Hands rich with jewels Eyes shining like diamonds Her smile kisses me I sit on a stone in the shade of a palm tree Against the peering of the blue waves She cares for me and my wounds With a single touch of her thin, slight hand beautiful and grand I dream and I dream and I dream... Of my Arabian Princess
