Winfield Wide Garage Sale will be held Friday and Saturday, June 21st and 22nd. Garage sellers in the greater Winfield area can participate and register at Antiques of Winfield. For a $10 fee, participants get a garage sale sign, their sale listed on 3 websites, promoted in the Herald, the Trib, Village Chronicles, with posters, banners and on marquees. Winfield had 120 sellers each of the last two years and buyers come from all over the Chicagoland area. Winfield-Area Garage Sellers, the Garage Sale Committee wants to remind you to make sure you hold open the weekend of Friday/Saturday, June 21-22 for your biggest ever Garage Sale! Join with the 120-plus Winfielders who use the Garage Sale Committee to advertise and promote their driveway sales to DuPage’s bargain hunters. The participation fee is only $10, same as last year, and in 2013 participating Garage Sellers will enjoy: -Personal listings on Craig’s List and two other Garage Sale websites; -a Village Garage sale permit, a professional quality yard sign, a master list and map of all participating sellers, and tips for a successful sale; -DuPage area advertising and promotion of the Garage Sale to buyers; -Daily Herald, Chicago Trib Local and Suburban Life papers; -Village Chronicles and Winfield Post papers; -Village’s Winfield Word, Channel 10 and Marquee; -Road Banners and Posters in retail and public locations; -Promotional participation and event sponsorship by a number of Winfield area restaurants and merchants to help draw bargain hunters; Vincent DePaul will provide three trucks for pickup of unsold, donatable goods after sale hours on Saturday, June 22, after 3:00 p.m. So, let the Garage Sale Committee help you make your 2013 Garage Sale the biggest success ever!
