Wink & Brownie.....going to be working hard next week to find both of these love bugs a furever home.... Wink is a 30 lb lab/ who knows what, mix....we call him Wink, because he was born with only one eye-his right eye is nothing but tissue.....simply a birth and cosmetic defect...does not disable him in the slightest. Winks a year old and cannot say enough good things about this great boy....house and crate trained, very mellow, easy-going, sweet, loves to sit in your lap and smother you in kisses if youll let him....fine with cats and other dogs....absolutely love this little furball.....he was so sweet and gentle with the seniors in an nursing home event a few weeks ago.....if you have an elderly parent, or friend, please consider Wink as the perfect pet and companion for them..... Brownie is the other sweetie we all love so much, and the longest resident in the shelter, going on four months now....shes a 33-35 lb, 3 year old, pug or pittie mix.....listed as a pittie, but several have commented they see pug in her.....whatever she is, she is beautiful....she has the same endearing qualities as Wink except she will not tolerate cats or small rodents...rabbits, mice, etc....she was on her own for while, so use your imagination what she must have had to do to survive....ok for the most part around other dogs, as long as theyre friendly.....she will not back down from dominance, so a slow introduction would be best if there are other dogs in your home....this gal is depressed she hasnt gotten a home yet.....and she so deserves one..... We will bring either of these dogs to you, here locally in Chillicothe, for a meet n greet if you cannot, or prefer not, to go to the shelter to visit them....sometimes, actually, all the time, it is so much better to meet our shelter dogs outside the shelter, as their behavior relaxes and they become totally different away from this enviroment....please help us find these two a great home..... Brownies adopt fee is only $20, and she has been spayed... Winks adopt fee is $77, and includes everything.... For this small adopt fee, youll get millions back in love and loyalty...
