Winny K Chebet wrote her concern about mushroom farming on a post by Betty CM through a comment. She expressed her interest in venturing in mushrooms but received no help. Well it passed me coz this site get posts every passing minute and its only possible to miss posts due to this fact. Many people do mushrooms secretly and do not want to share about their fortunes. I have worked with many farmers in Nairobi and parts of Nyanza doing this project and training farmers. Its VERY simple and cheap doing it. Currently Kirdi is working on forming Kenya Mushroom Farmers Association and will be rolled out very soon. In the spirit of giving back to the society I do free training provided Im facilitated. However, youll buy spawns or mushroom seeds. I must however emphasize here that for success, you need to have passion and full dedication.
