U.S. Markets American Markets closed higher on Monday finishing its eighth strait session of gains. The Dow Jones and the S&P500 continued higher and are at all-time highs. In economic data a report retail sales rose 0.4 percent, less than the 0.8 percent forecast for June, while manufacturing in the New York region expanded in July at the fastest pace in five months as the area’s factory activity stabilised in the midst of a slowdown in growth. On Monday, The Dow Jones index was closing at 15,484 +0.13%, the S&P 500 index was closing at 1,682 +0.14% and the NASDAQ index was closing at 3,607 +0.21%. European Markets European markets were traded with a positive sentiment yesterday, reaching their highest levels in 6 weeks. Macro economic data is expected to show that German confidence has improved for the third straight month. On Monday, The FTSE 100 was closing at 6,586 +0.65% , the German DAX was closing at 8,234 +0.27% and the France CAC was closing at 3,878 +0.61%. Asian Markets Asian Markets were traded with a positive sentiment earlier today. Markets demonstrated optimism after a weaker than forecast-ed U.S. retail sales growth supported the opinion that the U.S FED should delay a reduction to its bond-buying stimulus plan soon. Earlier today, The SSE Composite Index In China was closing at 2,057 -0.12% while the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong was closing at 21,331 +0.13%, and the Nikkei 225 Index in Japan was closing at 14,585 +0.54%. Commodities & Foreign Exchange The U.S Dollar Index is currently traded around 82.94. Crude NYMEX is currently traded around $106.14. Spot gold is currently traded around $1,280.
