Winter Wolves Its early green Spring of youthful awakening giving hopes of love, with promises of budding Then red hot Summer, flaming passions of yearning with blazing thoughts that makes ones body go sweating That brown Autumns fall, comes the pruning and burning with dried leaves thrown to pyre and fruits for harvesting So white Winter comes, for true and false discerning its cold numb fingers poking, the innards freezing Now comes to everybody the timely warning against the wild winter wolf, that howls beguiling Be cautious! Oh, hearts that are lonely and chilling Do not search for warmth in furs that are deceiving Be aware of the risks, rebound from Summers fling come Spring, winter wolves will leave you down and crying thank you George Jenkins
