Winter means blankets. Whats the best survival blanket? When venturing outdoors you should have at least one of the aluminized tarp version blankets, and then either a good quality 100% wool blanket or the thickest fleece blanket you can find. And remember survival blankets are useful at home too if the power goes out. Perfect to keep in the car for emergencies not only your own but if you come across an accident they can at the very least keep an injured person warm until help arrives.
