Winter weather/snow plowing update-while things can change very quickly this time of year most forecasts are still calling for 7-9 of snow for Brooklyn Park by about noon tomorrow. We are starting a full callout at 4am. The first streets plowed tomorrow morning may end up with a few additional inches of snow on them by the time the storm is over but that should melt pretty quickly. A higher priority tomorrow will be getting everything plowed once as quickly as possible to allow residents to travel if/when they want or need to. Were not planning on plowing sidewalks starting at 4am. We will monitor their condition and the storm and make that decision sometime tomorrow morning. The good news is that if you dont want to shovel your driveway and can make it through the snow tomorrow most or all of it should melt by the end of the weekend.
