Winter wonderland -Levi January/February Experience the spirituality of Lapland and you will never be the same!Levi is the most popular place in Lapland for a good reason. Day 1: Welcome to Lapland Arrive to Kittilä Airport, from where you are transported to hotel Hullu Poro (Grazy Reindeer) Levi. In the evening, the first adventure of your holiday is an evening at the Husky safari. A short ride from Levi brings you to a Husky kennel, where many friendly and hard-working dogs are waiting to give you a friendly welcome. Before departing on a thrilling dogsled excursion, your guide will provide a basic lesson on how to control your huskies and sled, which you will share with another participant, taking turns as driver and passenger. Back at the kennel you can enjoy some hot berry juice before returning to town. Day 2: Spa and Auroras After a delicious buffet breakfast it is time to pack your swimsuit for a spa visit and relax. Levi Spa Water World is among the best in all of Finland. A fascinating atmosphere is created by indoor and outdoor pools, different kinds of saunas, a water slide and variable lights, sounds and other phenomenas of nature. In the evening - with a little luck - the sky will be clear, the moon and the stars will be shining and the mysterious dancing lights will make an appearance. Hotel guests may relax in the sauna department: enjoy a refreshing coolness of the cold water plunge pool or warm bubbles of the Jacuzzi free of charge. Also the gym is open for training seven days a week. Many kinds of treatments and services, such as cosmetician and masseur, as well a salt room and an infrared sauna, are available for a fee. Day 3: Reindeer safari and Lappish Kammi Breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Visit in a Reindeer Farm and experience 3 kilometres drive in a forest. You can drive by your own reindeer or just enjoy your ride and we will drive. The drive takes about 10 to 45 minutes depend on drivers skills and reindeers mind. After the drive and photos, coffee / tea / hot chocolate is served in warm and cozy Ounaskievari main building. Program lasts about one hour. In the evening dinner in KAMMI (NORTHERN COTTAGE).In Kammi you will experience the traditional cuisines of Lapland in all it’s glory and at the same time you can enjoy the traditional Northern atmosphere.
