Style is a reflection of your attitude and your personality. Imitation. Imitation, if it is not forgery, is a fine thing. It stems from a generous impulse, and a realistic sense of what can and cannot be done. Remember, Rudeness is a weak imitation of strength. Experience. The only source of knowledge is experience. Experience is the teacher of all things. A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions. Anticipate the difficult by managing the easy.
