Wise advice: never rent/buy a condo before you meet the neighbors and ask them to blast their stereo as loud as they would on any given day while you listen from your unit. Also interview them about the other neighbors, for instance, inquire about marital issues and possible disrespectful habits they may have. I unfortunately have learned this lesson the hard way. I have one neighbor that feels blasting their distasteful music at all hours of the night and day is acceptable to those around them and that a simple hint, such as, slamming my fist against our shared wall, is actually a sign of enthusiasm and causes them to turn up the noise pollution they refer to as music. I have resorted to post its left on my door explaining why taylor swift and Selena Gomez are singing their hearts out for the night for my neighbors entertainment, I mean I am just returning the favor. My other neighbors should probably call their relationship what it is, a dead horse. The screaming and fighting is so loud I actually have moved things in my closet because I fear if they do put one another through the wall they will unintentionally hurt themselves on something I possess and sue me for their battle wounds. Tonights fight was about a phone charger. Yes, they are THAT loud. Moving is really my only option. I hope the next tenants are hard of hearing. This adventure has only solidified my decision on homeownership.... if you are going to buy anything.... make it a house. Rant over. Working til 730am. Lets hope I can stay awake.
