Wise men say that it is the preoccupation of fools to predict the future. I dare say that trying to predict precisely,.without a margin for failings is the task of fools, but trying to predict broadly due to insight in sufficient information,is the duty of wise men, as to warn ,direct, guide... long time ago, I stated that the liberal mind set is doomed to undermine its very essential ideas, due to human tednency to exeggarate in all matters. I said that Human right without limitations and counter weight of human duties will bring about the undermining of human rights...and that is what we see in the way, EU deals with immigrants and refugees overwheliming it. Italy and Greece stopped few years ago to treat them in accordance with human rights`declarations, and the rest of Europe is not far bhind. And it will spread(my prediction) as there are fewer ressources and growing numbers of displaced people. Entitelements as welfare, pensions and medi care have run out of control in many places in the West-bringing Chicago to bankrupcy and more big cities may go this way. All these promises we have made in the liberal of welfare- liberal policies and humanism are going to backfire, as they are not going to be met. Now,what it has to do with predicting the future? Well, without sustainability in major areas like climate ,economy, demography and lifestyle, without understanding the human limited behavioral calibration within its fixed brain/mind limitations, and our inclination to illusions,it is reasonable to assume that our civilization is going to collapse, slowly but surely.
