Wish our Indian filmmakers can take a leaf out of the foreign film-makers as to how to transform a book in to a movie without taking the essence out of it and yet making it concise and interesting. The latest in this case is - Maze Runner - an amazing thriller where the audience is spell bound till the last few minutes when the plot is slowly revealed. Thomas (the protagonist)-is trapped after a memory loss along with other boys in a fortress that has walls in the form of a maze. Everday a few chosen runners run the maze and return before sunset to map the way out. None knows why they are there and who has trapped them. Till one day the first girl is sent to the maze! An interesting thriller with a futuristic concept. One of the Indian filmmakers who has succeeded in adapting books consistently is Vishal Bharadwaj. Looking forward to his Haider (Hamlet).
