With 15 Regular B team players unavailable the club had to call up 7 under 18 players to make their senior team Debuts against the Baymen in the curtain raiser to the Rock V new Brunswick game helped along by Veteran players such as Dave Penney the young inexperienced team produced an excellent effort in losing to a last minute try 20-19. Every player showed they had the capabilities to be playing at least at this level but special mentions should go to Thomas Hickman making his first start as a 15 year old and to Aaron Burrows who scored his first try after only a handful of starts with the team. It was also nice to see Taedy O Rourke back on the Rugby Field after a long time and recent recruit Hamish Elliott showing what a great pick up he is. The next game is a goodyear game v the Dogs rfc at swilers 6.30pm friday
