With Annie being one of my favorite movies of all time I was excited to hear about the black Annie being made. But after seeing the trailer idk if they tried too hard to make it modern! I wish they would have kept the time period in the 1930s and gave it a post harlem renaissance flavor maybe... or at least trully made it an All black cast without Cameron Diaz or the white Britsh lady playing Oliver Warbucks assistant! No shade but they could have got some black theater actors to kill those roles. Dont just throw white people in the cast to make it diverse if they dont really deserve the part. I like Cameron Diaz but from the previews her portrayal of Ms. Hanagin is so off base. She supposed to be so evil that its funny not so funny that the kids are confused by her. wtf? But I am excited to see who will play Rooster and his wife. Over all im supporter of Quvenzhene Wallis and the movie still. I hate all the racist comments im seeing on YouTube but whatever. #blackannie #goseeit #favmovie
