With Cataract, comes better sight. I was supposed to change my glasses due to power increase/decrease. I went to my usual optical shop but that particular morning the bosstress wasnt there. So I went to another optician in Taman Midah. My eyes were tested by a very experienced old man there. I tried very hard to read the fourth line after my power was adjusted to the most suitable degree, and still I found it difficult to read it. So the optician told me to consult an eye specialist to test whether I was having cataract. He even told me this if you have cataract, I congratulate you. I didnt really understand why he said that at that time. So I went to this eyes specialist in Serdang as recommended by my church friend. He examined me and true enough I had cataract in both eyes. There and then I decided to have them removed. My blood cholesterol,sugar level and stress level were tested and I was found fit to undergo operation. An appointment was made and my left eye has to go under the laser beam first. I was assured that it would be a simple,painless and fast operation and a new lens will replace my natural one. After a week, when the bandage was removed the joy I experienced to be able for the first time to see clearly with my left eye without the use of my glasses after using glasses for more than 60 years was a joy I truly enjoyed. So I decided to have the second be done with the cataract. So within another 7 days, I was under the laser beam again and another week later I regain perfect eyesight which I really appreciate although I spent all in RM6150 for both eyes. It was worth it. Now I can see distant objects perfectly and night vision is marvellous, I only need reading glasses to read. Thats why I say WITH CATARACT COMES BETTER SIGHT NO WONDER THE EARLIER OPTICIAN SAID I NEEDED TO BE CONGRATULATED IF I WAS FOUND TO HAVE CATARACT. Since then, I could do many thinks which I found inconvenient to do while wearing glasses.
