With Jess and Katie still in New York, I needed to find coverage for Brooke so I could meet with a client. One of my dear friends daughter was able to hang out with her at her house. While they were playing, the daughters brother, who Brooke had apparently not seen in quite some time showed up. He is 15. Brooke said hi and he started chatting with her. Shortly into their conversation, Brooke said, You have a new voice. Do you remember your old voice? After figuring out what she meant, he laughed and said yes. Brookes response? I like your old voice better. Its so interesting how our kids perceive the world.
