With WrestleFest 2 fast approaching we look back to last years event at WrestleFest a lot of great things happened but the first was the crowning of the first Internet Champion. The Internet Championship has been defending more than every other title and has been a great stepping stone for wrestlers to get noticed. The title was first won by War (now Ares) in a Battle Royal it has had 6 owners and has been the corner stone of VT@TA BECWs weekly Youtube show Drake Williams has the distinction of being the only man to hold the title twice and the shortest reigning champion at 14 days on his first run with the belt, The longest Reigning Champion is Aidan Gallagher at 98 days. The most controversy the title has ever had was when B.B Buff Broadside was stripped of the title by acting GM Matt West when he was unable to to defend it. With a new breed of trainees developing fast through the BECW Training school we wonder who will rise up and seek the opportunity and capture the INTERNET TITLE next?
