With a heavy heart, I share this video link Howie Simon just sent to me as I didnt watch it live. Seems David Letterman has announced his retirement sometime next year and its truly the end of an era in late night television!! I have been a fan and watching ol Dave since the 80s so he means much more to me than the other legends of that genre (Jack Paar, Johnny Carson) and certainly more than Jay Leno has left behind. Dave was a true pioneer and created a brand of humor I could and still relate to as I continue to watch every show, every night (mostly on DVR or Hulu because of my schedule!). My biggest dream and now regret is that I never got to perform on his show which now is on my bucket list between now and 2015, to have the chance to grace his amazing show!
