With a heavy heart,and many tears, we put had to put Chloe down today. She was my running partner, nonjudgmental ear, and unconditional friend for 14 years. Her gentle nature enabled Chloe to break many children of their fear of dogs and made her a friend of all, human and canine alike. She loved to swim in the sea and obediently stayed outside until she dried off afterwards. Chloe was, however, a horrible guard dog as she never barked even at cats (unless they were very little and already running away from her). We will miss her daily and cherish our memories of her.
