With all due respect, Geoff Brock is a BOOB. Only 11% of the voters in his Electorate of Frome voted for a Labour Government. 35.9% voted for a Liberal Government. 45.2% voted for him as an Independent and now hes given his vote to the party that only 11% wanted. After reading the information on the Electoral Commission website Im perplexed as to how the Libs could get 44.8% of the overall state vote and Labour got 35.8% yet Labour is able to form a minority government. I think more education is needed about the complicated preference voting system or only those that actually care about voting get to vote. There are a number of people that are not that interested in politics, that vote when they dont really want to. This website is a wealth of information. ecsa.sa.gov.au. Rant over :)
