With all due respect to companies, and their IT dept, sometimes it feels like their interview process always isnt right... Sometimes I see some oversmart nerdy fellow trying to invalidate someone skill or experience by asking tricky theoretical question or some tool he is using... I dont see them valuing what someone built so far or asking question about work ethics and team player... I guess thats why a lot of company end up with bullshit solutions... Not seamless... various system tied together slowing down the whole system and sometimes changing simple text content takes ,12 hours to figure out! Its the truth... I would definitely value work or what someone worked so far.... Instead asking difficult trick question that might have .5% application..
