With all this going on abut HEAVEN, it would probably be a good idea if I gave you a hint as what it’s about. Here you are; Phillip was a nice guy. He liked people well enough, he just preferred to like them from afar. One day his company was taking some employees on a field trip when the bus went out of control and tumbled down an embankment. Phillip wasn’t as badly hurt as some so he proceeded to try to get out as many as possible. He returned to the bus one time too many. A flash out of the corner of his eye was all he saw. Phillip Chapman died and went to Heaven… but that was just the beginning. He awakened in a mansion right out of his dreams. He realized quickly something was amiss; beyond the glorious grounds was an ocean. Phillip lived in Ohio. The manor house, and the island he found it to be on, contained everything he’d ever wanted.. and he was alone, just as he would like it. It was perfect… for a while. Heaven turned out to be a learning experience. His first lesson was that anything that lasts too long ceases to be pleasurable… even pleasure. Phillip started to study. If he could figure out what was going on, perhaps he’d have more of a say in what was happening to him. It worked. He started escalating through the levels of Heaven. Everything changed when he met Joyce McKinley, Joy, who would become his soul’s mate. There is no beauty like a Heaven in bloom, which is made even more so by being with ones love. Together they circumnavigated many levels of Heaven. Phillip was led by his desire for knowledge, trying to find answers to the questions that assailed him. Joy was led by a life-changing experience she’d had with Christ during her life. Had it been real? Was he? They found themselves experiencing the same dimensions for different reasons. Heaven was not a straight line. There was euphoria but there was also heartbreak and pain but the general movement was up, lighter, joyous. Heaven did indeed live up to it’s publicity.
