With all this talk about the supposed Republican Presidential - TopicsExpress

With all this talk about the supposed Republican Presidential candidates and those yet to declare that they are seeking the parties nod as the candidate for the 20 16 election, there seems to be a lot of naysayers among the most influential members or the party about those who they predict cannot win. We havent had one primary or caucus where delegates or voters will voice their opinion as to who they would like to see as the partys nominee, people like Donald Trump and others are telling us that certain candidates that have fallen out of favor with them, havent a chance of winning the election. True. Some of the candidates bring a ton of baggage with them as their records have not always been popular with the strict conservative vote but its too early to be counting any one candidate out this early in the electoral process. As for me, Im withholding any judgement on who I think will be a great candidate, the one with the best platform and record to prove they are who they say they are before throwing support to any one candidate. Im just sorry the field is so broad and the number of candidates that we Republicans/Conservatives will have to choose from before the race is actually set. We can only hope that we elect a man (or woman) who will be the exact opposite of Barack Obama with the best interest of the United States and her allies at heart. One that will embolden the middle class and take those who are now in poverty because of of Obama and lift them out. One who will strengthen our military and get this nation back the #1 position weve held until the Obama administration tried to level the playing field with other countries around the World...there is no shame in being superior. And last, but not least, tell those individuals that come to this country, they need to be assimilated into our culture and forget the culture they came from. American was and is the Great Melting Pot; we take the best and shed the rest of the cultures that want to come here. Until we have a President in office that will do this we will continue to have the terrorist attacks on our cities and our citizens. After all they came to get away from the oppressive societies in their homelands; leave the past behind and enjoy the freedoms that this country has to offer.
