With all this talk about whether or not ISIS is our problem, people are forgetting the most basic issue: The violence of political Islam is a direct result of its total rejection of the separation of church and state, the total rejection of the rule of law. Which are the two most important precursors for civilization. Political Islam is not a belief system which can *ever* be content to compete in the marketplace of ideas, or coexist with others. As Christianity did during its darkest days, Islam has become a religion which intentionally confuses itself with government, and has made clear its intention for either world domination or perpetual war. Political Islam must be destroyed everywhere it crops up, or civilization will continue to remain under threat. I dont care whose job it is--or isnt--there can be no further excuses for inaction.
