With deer rifle season opening this weekend many hunters are anxious for that chance to bag their first buck. However, with this storm coming in, being in the back country could be highly dangerous. This is a serious storm with a good potential to cause serious injury or death. Between trees falling from the high winds and potential sudden flooding from the rains, out in the mountains is not where you want to be. Tree falls can cause serious injury or death or make roads impassable. Flooding could wash out roads and, after the fires of this last summer, cause landslides and wash debris away. If you have plans to be in the mountains this weekend, change them. If you have friends and family already out make every effort to contact them and warn them about the hazards of this storm.
