With government agencies becoming obsessed with data mining of everyones personal communications, I am not surprised to hear about this issue with the iPhone. Lets not forget that the NSA has built a spy center-a data collection facility in Utah without the approval of Congress or anyone for that matter. Where did they get the money to build such a massive complex, the largest in the world which has the ability to monitor, collect and record any and all electronic communications of every person in every country. The question is why do the want to do this? How to they have the right to do this? Thats easy to answer. One has to look no further than the events that occurred after 9/11. George Bush and his administration formulated, in the dark of night, without the participation of Congress, a law called The Patriot Act which basically gave our current government, at that time, as well as, the new branches it created immeasurable power to violate our Constitutional and Civil Rights like never before. And now we are witnessing the partnerships, if you will, between Big Business and branches of our government, such as the NSA exercising the liberties that the Patriot Act affords them. Where does this end? Our government and elected officials no longer work to represent the people. This is more prevalent today than every before in our history!
