With our games at the CFE Arena fast approaching, there are a few things that everyone who is participating must know. Im sure that your coaches will continue to drum these into your head as well, but we dont want anyone to take the chance of not being able to play because of improper equipment. 1) NO CLEATS are allowed on the field! This includes turf cleats and indoor soccer shoes with cleats (no matter how soft they appear to be). Cross Training shoes or regular running/tennis shoes are the only shoes that will be allowed. 2) AS ALWAYS....mouthguards! The coaches will have less equipment on hand and it will be difficult to find one if you dont have one. Bring two just in case. Players will not be allowed to play without one. 3) RESPECT this opportunity! We are being trusted with a multi-million dollar facility, please treat it accordingly. EVERYONE is responsible for their own trash and garbage removal! Not everyone honored this last year at the Amway Center and I felt it to be very disrespectful and this behavior does not shine a positive light on our organization and may limit our ability to offer future experiences like these to the children. Out of respect, you wouldnt leave your garbage on the floor of a friends home, so dont do it at the arena either! 4) Exact game times will be released early this week and your coaches will pass them on to you. This is dependent on what time that we can gain access to the arena in the morning for set up. The coaches currently have the match-ups and game sequences, we are just waiting for the exact times.
