With people declaring their allegiances, I would also like to take a stand. George Kasakula is a very good friend of mine, one of my best friends in the profession with whom I share a lot. Thom Khanje is also a very good friend who I have worked with before and now. He is actually only two rooms away and I see him every working day. I could also say we come from the same part of the country because my father is from Thyolo. But you know what? None of this will be a factor in my decision next Saturday. This is not about me or my personal relationships. This is about Misa Malawi and its future. My vote will, therefore, be for the person I believe stands a better chance of working for the benefit of the organisation, not me. I dont think Misa Malawi is there to promote friendships.
