With prayerful reflection, the mission committee and Session have approved our next project. Several members of our congregation have worked thoroughly with Zambians and missionaries serving in Africa to research and identify the best solution for addressing the communities’ water needs. We will raise approximately $10,000 in order to equip a rural village with a submersible pump powered by solar panels so that they will have access to clean water. In the coming months, the mission committee will begin to educate and inform our church family of this vital project. Holy scripture reminds us that Jesus is the true water of life. As we seek to turn the symbol of living water into a reality, please open your hearts and minds to our mission in Africa.
