With school starting back up it is more important than ever to teach your kids the importance of not bullying others. Your children should know that their actions have consequences, and some of those consequences are the death of a classmate. Teach your children tolerance. Bullying will never end if all we teach is the victims how to avoid bullies. Instead, teach your children how NOT to bully. Enforce the if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing rule. Teach them that other people are different and thats OK. Most importantly, teach them love by showing them how. Your children learn everything from you. If you preach intolerance at your dinner table, they will preach it at their desk. Show your family that you are not afraid to love those who are different, and your children will follow suit.
