With so many REAL problems the much less fortunate than I deal with every day, theres still something compelling me to share this bit of stupid with you. Our apartment manager posted a notice dated TODAY that alerted ALL tenants that our water would be shut off from 10 am to 4 pm TODAY. She says the flyer was put up over the weekend, but admittedly in only TWO places. NO, not by the mailboxes and most definitely not on our front doors. ONE was placed NEXT to the elevator (white paper on white wall) and the other, INSIDE the elevator. First of all, I live on the first floor and even those of us who live on the 2nd and even 3RD floor, dont USE the 75-year-old piece of garbage because it breaks down all the time. Why would you risk getting stuck when you dont HAVE to? Therefore, possibly 18 of the 36 units never SAW the notice. WTH?
