With so many complaints of racial profiling, discrimination and just general bad news, I thought I would give a positive shout out to the nice officer that let my African American boyfriend and his Caucasian girlfriend off with a warning for speeding in their new black honda. 70/55. He shouldve ticketed Mr. Brad Palmer, but he didnt. He said he understood getting used to a new car and was nothing but pleasant. Thinking all cops are bad and out to get you is just silly. Yes, some are but so are some priests, some teachers, some politicians- some people. If you stereotype them then dont be upset if they stereotype you. We have never ever experienced someone treating us differently...or maybe we just choose not to play that card, either way I like to think people are generally good. It feels better that way.
