With the NSA, FBI and DHS on our backs; we might wanna double check what we share on the internet. Every Google search is monitored, every Skype call recorded, every email is literally wire tapped, contents read, keystrokes captured, malware installed. Google inserts cookies inside your computer when you visit it, which is basically a unique tracking number and anytime you visit any given site, your computer interacts with dozens of servers who recognize your computer (NSA piggybacks on this, by the way). This fits with very nicely with the desire of advertisers to target their messages towards people in real time. However, not only advertisers, but military and intelligence communities gather this data for surveillance and this becomes legit cause courts have a difficult time to not let intelligence gather sensitive information when the same is sold to advertisers. If you believe this is only being done in the U.S.A and Indians are protected, think again! Every major IT company is headquartered in the states and every Indian is on Facebook. Watch what you do on the internet!
