With the extreme wet and windy weather conditions forecast in Adelaide this week, the AWL Team ask that you take a moment before you head to work or out for the day to ensure your beloved pet is kept safe. Animals, especially dogs, get very frightened by these extreme conditions so it is very important to ensure that they have up to date details on their micro-chip and an ID tag with your current contact details. The AWL Team work tirelessly to help reunite lost pets with their owners so to ensure you are reunited as soon as possible, make sure your pet has correct identification ASAP. If your pet is outside, please ensure there is nowhere for them to escape from your yard and they have adequate shelter from these extreme conditions with lots of blankets to keep warm. Where possible keep your pet inside with fresh water and clean blankets to lie on. If your pet does go missing please contact your local council immediately and call the AWL Team on 8348 1300 to lodge a lost report. Also make sure you visit the AWL Shelter as you are the best person to identify your pet.
