With the four-cornered contest in Bengal, there are likely to be some upsets depending on whose share of votes the BJP is able to cut into. Even though the opinion polls till now have maintained an upward trend for the ruling TMC with the latest NDTV polls giving the party 30 seats compared to the ABP-Nielsen survey which gave them 28 seats, there is a likelihood that the Left Front may be the beneficiaries in about 3 to 4 seats if the BJP share of votes crosses 10%. Just as in the centre one is hoping that the BJP should have large enough numbers to form the Govt. with the help of its NDA allies, in Bengal we should try for a clear majority for the TMC so that they can get the necessary numbers to bargain for the State in a stronger manner. Since voting for the BJP would not get them the seats , it is better that people in our State should use their common sense and not waste their votes by being carried away by the so-called Modi wave.
