With the new cat laws approaching fast, we have heard many concerns from the public regarding the limits on the number of cats they can own. Each council will have different limits, however there is a stipulation in the legislation which states that if you are in excess of the limit before November 1st 2013, you are not required to remove any of your existing cats. It is stated that the cats cannot be replaced should they pass away or be rehomed until you are in compliance with the limit.
