With the same comfort! I love it when people say than they have a calling... I get excited when someone is it out to be a blessing. I love the days of little beginnings. But I think that at times, we forget that he pot that cooks must face the heat of the flames. I attended a church years ago. A good number of people in the church were illegal immigrant in that country. A lot of times, they would ask the pastor to pray for them and agree with them in a rare of faith whenever it was time for them to apply for regularisation of their papers... On one of the occasions, one of the brethren approached me . She was very distraught and she was crying. Pastor told me that if I dont get my papers, why dont I go back to where I came from? The disappointment was intense. This is not to condemn what the pastor said or did not say, its to drive home a point....you can advise people about wars if you have faced the fires. Nobody can describe a toothache if they have never experienced it. He didnt know what that meant to the woman. Being a citizen himself, he didnt even know that there are things ha need to be put in place for someone to work legally. He didnt know what it meant that our parents sold all that hey had to buy your tickets for that postgraduate course and you cannot afford t go back home without a proof that their investment has made a difference in their lives and yours. He didnt know....because he had never been there. The proof that something works is seen in that it has done what it was stated to do... When God is raising you for a purpose, He allows you to have a first hand experience. Dont join those who go out half baked. Allow God to make you ready. The experience is not always nice or pleasant, but the fact is that you cant fly a jet without the training. I watched as to-be pilots faced the flying simulation classes.... They get exposed to various real life scenarios even though to in a controlled environment. Thats where they get the confidence to deal with it when it goes wrong in real life. Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. (2 Corinthians 1:4, KJV) Are you still glad that you have a calling? Good. Just to let you know that war captains dont hide in the battle. If God is repairing you for something special, dont complain during training sessions. He has a way of making us repeat classes until we pass the modules...no short cuts. God has given you a marriage restoration ministry and you and your hubby cannot even agree on a simple issue....thats right. You got serious lessons to learn ... God called you into the ministry of helps and you cant understand why you cant afford a meal..... Calm down.....when you have come out of your lessons, the story will be sweet for you to tell... If you will need it where He is taking you, He will give it to you along your journey... Its true that God doesnt use perfect people, but that doesnt mean that He uses just anybody....He looks for imperfections that He can overshadow and portrays Himsef through. Take the dose and finish your modules.....YOU ARE GOING SOMEWHERE SERIOUS. The heat is much and the waves are strong, you cant teach to swim if you dont know how to float in the storm yourself.....Enjoy your training lessons.
