With the shock of the last election now blending into the business, as usual, din of DC bravado intended, to intimidate and bully the President or as we know it, business, as usual, the results may have an upside after all. In the beginning, the President tried to work with the Republicans and was rebuffed at every turn, then he needed, to turn his capable attentions to his sucessful re-election bid and finally mid-terms for Democrats running in Red States. Last weeks election results, had an energizing effect, it set Obama free to act on his/our agenda. He is in legacy building mode, as well. With nothing to loose and everything to gain, the constraints removed, the President can act with all the considerable authority, his current office allows. Republicans have had a plan, to deny the President any successes, with that in mind, working in conjunction with them in any capacity, is a fool hearty endeavor, at best. As we watch Repubs. huff and puff and try to bully him over the impending Immigration Executive Order, the terms used are so fiery and dramatic and their desperate need to control him, slipping from their sweaty, little palms, I must admit, I believe, I am really going to enjoy the next 2 years...more so everyday. My suggestion to Repubs is, bend over boys.. The Muslim, Kenyan, Gay, Marxist, is back in business.. BTW: Immigration is the issue that has Repubs frothing at the mouth, vomiting threats of Impeachment among, other things..Nothing would energize our party, more..so have at it boys.. We, Dems are itching for that fight..It would seem that interfering, with the Executive in the White House and his work might have repercussions of its own.
