With the statutory regulations up for review in the UK now and into early 2015, the League Against Cruel Sports has issued a report about the state of greyhound racing in Great Britain and has found self-regulation to be severely lacking. I am asking everyone I know who can vote in the UK to sign their petition calling on the government to reform the regulations governing racing dog welfare: league.org.uk/helpgreyhounds We need 100, 000 signatures to have this matter debated in Parliament. At the moment the civil servants are reviewing the regulations behind closed doors. Please could you encourage your UK supporters to sign. It will have a big impact for the Irish greyhounds.
