With the sun rise comes a new day and we are blessed to share the good news. Shelly is still fighting and far from the finish line, but the fact we are here still fighting shows us all that God is not done. Update: 7:30am Met a few new members of the team this morning. Shelly has her own crew working 24/7 to bring her back to us. As of 4am Shelly is no longer on blood pressure medicine. Let me say that again. Shelly was on 4, max dosage blood pressure medicines, and now she is on none and holding her own pretty well! Thank you God! They used a camera to go inside and check out her lungs. Forgive me for not remembering the medical terms, that is Shellys forte, not mine. They can see some damage for sure, inflammation and fluid, but they are hopeful because it was not as much as they thought it would be. The plan for now is to continue resting. She is still in a medical induced coma and will remain there until she is strong enough to continue her road to recovery. She is still on the lung bypass pump as well. These are all good things! After the past 48 hours we needed some little steps in the right direction. My wife is the strongest woman I know. And my God is stronger than that. Please keep praying and thank God for bringing us this far. We will continue the fighting.
