With the two year anniversary show behind us, its time to look forward! Within the next few months, DRAG THE WATERS will have themed specials, similar to the 100% CANADIAN setlist we heard last night. There are currently FIVE themed specials planned, with more undoubtedly making their way through the woodwork. -There is an ACOUSTIC special, focusing solely on the lighter side of rock/metal bands and alternate renditions of popular songs. (Bands included: Yusuf / Cat Stevens, Great Big Sea, Staind) -There is a ROCK FOCUS that pulls the music of some of the biggest rock bands of all time alongside local and lesser-known rock acts with the potential to make it just as big. (Bands included: Foo Fighters, Collective Soul, Tri City Villains) -There is a BASS FOCUS that helps bring some attention to the backbone of many songs. All songs on this setlist start with the bass guitar in some way, shape, or form. (Bands included: Musical Affair, Stone Sour, Pearl Jam) -There is an INDUSTRIAL special, focusing solely on the wide, wonderful world of industrial metal. (Bands included: Nine Inch Nails, The Birthday Massacre, Device, Khemical Krypt) -The is a HEAVY FOCUS that finally calls to light some of the heavier bands sent to us at Drag The Waters after the end of Heavier Than Heaven.
