With the up and coming book signing at the Ashford branch of Waterstones I have been asked a few times now to write a bit of information about my books so here goes... DEAD BODIES DO TELL TALES - A JACK THE RIPPER NOVEL In 1888 Mary Kelly is alone, her friends killed by the madman Jack the Ripper. She meets a strange women who can tell Mary Kelly her future. Can Mary face her destiny or run away from it? And what is the real reason behind the strange womans actions? Ten years later, Thomas Dunn is an author looking for material for his next novel while having an addiction to the purple poppy which is giving him horrid nightmares. Thomass best friend Charles helps Thomas with material by asking Thomas to solve his lovers ten year old murder... But with everyone Thomas questions dying in a simliar fashion to the ripper murders, his drug filled dreams entering into his real life and meeting a strange woman that seems to know more about him than he does, Thomas moves to the safety of Kent. But has Thomas put himself in more danger? Could Jack the Ripper be back? And what is the strange connection between Mary Kelly and Thomas Dunn? This fictional tales mixes a lot of fact about The Jack the Ripper crime and Victorian beliefs to make a hauntingly gripping novel. It asks the reader if you had the power to change history, would you change it no matter what it means? I have just finished the novel, I loved the fact it was something really different. I really like the ten year tool Ian Porter, author of Whitechapel and Walter Sickert in Jack the Ripper: The Suspects.
