With the world becoming more and more secularized, many people have lost the sense of God in their lives. The result is that, many have lost the sense of sin. John Paul II of blessed memory puts it in this way, The problem of this age is not sin, but lack of the sense of sin. Sin has been watered down to the extent that, we no longer see the sinfulness of some of our actions simply because everybody is doing it. As christians, we are not exempt from this phenomenon, since we are also in the world. Families are gradually breaking down. The family is the domestic Church. It is the first church. The Church is thus a combination of many domestic churches. The survival of the church depends on the survival of the family. We should therefore strive to renew our christian families by restoring the core values of our faith.
