With this suicide awareness/prevention week Ive decided to post instead of sharing a generic picture. Some of you know already but sometimes you just have to keep it real. We all know and have been affected by suicide on some level. When I was 13 my boyfriend (we kissed a few times and held hands when we went out) committed suicide. He was 15. He was in a bit of bother at school and lost his paper round.... These things are important at 15. A small group of us were out one night and the girls hid from the boys. During this time he had climbed a tree and whether he was going to try to scare us or did it on purpose we will never know. I am 43 now and still afraid of the dark. The vision of him is burned into my memory. So many hearts broke and life could have so different. Problems now will be irrelevant in the future. Nothing is worth breaking so many hearts for. Xxx
