With tired body, I still move. Couldnt sleep last night while wrestling with emotions - tired body, tired spirit, tired mind. Let me rest. My feet and sneakers arent in any condition now for the long run to Urique. Oh, well. Tomorrow, Ill just go out for a 16 miler, and enjoy one final day of heat in this beautiful canyon town of Batopilas, before taking the bus back up to Creel. Then, out of here. Its been good. Ill see what happens next year. 3:30 - Took an easy Adios run to Cerro Colorado (2:35), where I did the Caballo Dance and neighing for the kids, nice place, just savoring the harmony among all people. While walking across the bridge, my white Sombrero or Ranchero hat, flew into the river. So, I flushed it out. Ive grown attached to the hat which I bought a couple of weeks ago. I really like it. All of the men wear these light, style hats. Ive only been in this area three weeks, and everybody knows me, and the Raramuri seem to genuinely like me. Thats a real good feeling.
